Thank you for choosing the Garden City for your film location needs!
After registering with the Savannah Regional Film Commission through their Project Registration Form, each City of Garden City-owned location should be submitted to Jackie Jackson via the City of Garden City Film Permit Application.

Garden City requires all productions to submit a permit application at least 10 days before filming. In addition, all fees, deposits, and certificates of insurance must be secured 10 days prior to filming.

Type of Insurance Required: Commercial General Liability, naming “The City of Garden City” as an additional insured.
Minimum Limits (per occurrence): $2,000,000
Evidence of Insurance: Evidence of Insurance must be submitted before a permit can be effective.

Application Fee – $25.00
Use of City Property – $400.00 per day
Police Officer Security/Extras – $30.00 per hour (4 hour minimum)
Police Vehicle – $35.00 per day
Fire Truck – $250.00 per day
Firefighter – $30.00 per hour (4 hour minimum)
Water Hookup, Metering, water, etc. – Based on Current Rates
Public Works assistance in road closures, etc. – Based on Current Rates
Last Minute Changes and/or Request – $100.00
